The great thing about our locations is that you can travel between them in next to no time at all. Cardiff is just a 15-20 minute journey away from Pontypridd, and Newport is around 30 minutes away from Cardiff.

USW has a thriving sport environment, with a range of our teams competing in the British Universities & Colleges League.

Each campus hosts a range of student events from enterprise events to mental health awareness days to comedy nights and of course parties at our on-campus nightclub Eclipse.
