Credibility interviews are carried out as part of the student visa applicaition process to find out more about you, why you’ve chosen to study at USW and your future plans. You must be well-prepared for these interviews.

That we recommend you should prepare for
You could talk about the facilities, location, academic programmes, unique programmes or accreditations.

You could talk about the global reputation of British education.
You could talk about the career benefits of having a UK degree/masters.
You could talk about the reputation of the UK Higher Education sector, the duration of our courses, the affordability of fees or event the proximity to your home country.
You could talk about course specific facilities (e.g. accreditations, placement opportunities, field trips, course specific countries or laboratories). You can find out more about course specific facilities on your relevant course page.
If yes, explain why you have taken that person’s recommendation. You will need to show that have done your own research too.
You could talk about where you’re hoping to live and how far away your accommodation will be from the campus you will be studying at.
If you decide to live off campus, how will you travel to your place of study each day? How much is the cost of train travel?
What university accommodation is available and how much will it cost?
You could talk about why you’ve decided to invest a significant amount of money in the UK, or your career plan and what field of work you aspire to work in.
How long will you have to work to earn back the cost of your UK study?
Your course page will give more information of teaching and assessment methods, course length, and qualifications. It will also give details on course content (what you will study).
Think about your career aspirations and the revelance of your course to your future career path. You could check the career section of your course page and explain why you are progressing to this course and how it relates to your previous study. You should also consider explaining any gaps in study, career breaks, and why you are returning to study if applicable.

Think about academic progression and postgraduate study and how the higher award will relate to what you will be studying at USW.
You could talk about what your expected salary will be and what you expect of your career progression. You can also talk about how studying this course at USW will help you to progress in your career.
If your parents/spouse are supporting you, be prepared to talk about their finances and occupations.
If the funds have come from a large transaction such as a sale of land, you should be prepared to talk about that during the interview and to provide documentary evidence to support the application.
Think about how you can fund your studies and support your dependants.
