Learning Analytics - Check In
Learning Analytics is a web-based system that students can use to check in at certain lectures, tutorials, and events. The University uses Learning Analytics to track attendance and several other measures of student engagement.
Who needs to use Learning Analytics?
Most international students must use Learning Analytics to check in at most or all of their lectures - see Tier 4/Student Route Attendance and Engagement Monitoring.
Other students may need to check in with Learning Analytics too - your lecturer will let you know.
How it works
- At the start of each lecture, your lecturer will give you a 6 digit code.
- Log in to Learning Analytics using your USW student email address.
- Input the 6 digit code, and hit the 'Check-in' button.
- Your attendance at the lecture has now been logged.

'My Timetable' button
The 'My Timetable' button on Learning Analytics shows any events that the system has you scheduled to attend, today or the next day. It does not show the whole of your upcoming timetable. For that please see your Outlook Calendar.
