BA (Hons) Media, Culture and Journalism
As MCJ students move into their final year, advancing their critical thinking, producing creative content, and developing their professional identities are at the heart of the course. Students are showcasing two projects. The first is for the module Transmedia and Media Convergence. These academic posters critically analyse the media landscape and the prevalence of multimedia relationships, highlighting students’ detailed industry knowledge. The second is part of the year-long module Curation, Exhibition and Events. Collaborating with the first and second year MCJ students, our third years act as project managers to design and curate special cinema screenings that work to build wider community engagement. With this, they produce materials that help shape meaning and value around the films the show.
