Postgraduate Entertainment and Comedy Drama was won by Patient, by Luca Bergonzini, Michael Karam, Al Griffiths and Charlie Grayson.

The award for Postgraduate Factual Short Form went to Rosemary, made by Temilorun Enemuwe and Megan Stanley.

Samo Chandler, lecturer in Film at USW, said: “On behalf of the BA and MA Film course teams, I congratulate our nominated and winning graduates at this year’s RTS Cymru Awards. Every year we bring a selection of our finest and most ambitious films to these awards in the hopes of taking home a few wins. This year our graduates from both the BA and MA Film courses did extremely well, with both the quality and ambition of last year’s graduating films exceeding previous years, and the wins go to prove that.

“We’d also like to thank the students and graduates from the TV & Film Set Design and Visual Effects & Motion Graphics courses, who played huge parts in the creation and success of many of our nominated and winning films. We hope these successes are a boost to the confidence of our graduates, and we trust they worked the room afterwards, networking with the industry nominees and winners.

“Thank you again to Ed Russell and the team at RTS Cymru for putting on another stellar awards ceremony, and to our colleagues at Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama for hosting. We look forward to returning next year, with what we hope will be an even more ambitious selection of films!”
