Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science (FCES) Travel Bursary 2024/25*
The FCES travel bursary is for any University of South Wales student studying a relevant undergraduate sandwich degree in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Sciences (FCES).
Worth £500, this one off, non means tested bursary is given to all students starting their sandwich year as part of their FCES degree course. The bursary is intended to provide financial support towards your travel costs to and from your sandwich placement.
Am I Eligible?
To be eligible, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Currently studying on an eligible full-time, Undergraduate Sandwich degree in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering, and Science.
- Will be undertaking your sandwich year during the academic year 2024/25

How is the bursary paid?
Following enrolment for your sandwich year, you will receive £500 paid directly into your bank account by BACS, during your first term (by the end of October 2024).
How do I apply?
Provided you meet the eligibility criteria, no further action is required.
Following enrolment onto your sandwich year, you will receive an email from the University during September 2024 confirming that the travel bursary will paid and additional details.
