Our Sports Scholarship is available to students performing to a high standard in their chosen sport, and representing the University in the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) league. It is designed to support potentially elite athletes and sports people who are competing at least at junior national or international level in their sport.

The University of South Wales is a designated institution that enables students from British Columbia and Ontario to attend and still be eligible for student financial assistance from their home province.

For more information about eligibility and how to apply, please visit British Columbia Student Aid or Ontario Student Assistance Program.

Our Undergraduate and Postgraduate EU Scholarship scheme offers a scholarship on the international tuition fees for EU students joining USW.

All EU students will qualify for this award and the scholarship awarded will ensure that the tuition fees paid do not exceed the amount being paid by Home students for the duration of study.

The University of South Wales is fully committed to the safety and security of those residing in Afghanistan or Syria and surrounding countries. Following government advice, we believe that self-funded prospective applicants currently residing in Afghanistan, Syria and surrounding countries would likely face serious security risk, and financial and logistical implications.

We have therefore made the difficult decision to withdraw any Afghan or Syrian applications until further notice. We appreciate this decision is disappointing, and it is one that we will review ahead of the 2025/2026 academic year.
