Hydra Simulation Centre
The Hydra Simulation Centre provides a unique learning and teaching environment and is used to conduct immersive, simulated scenarios for teaching and learning.
Developed by Professor Jonathan Crego, Hydra is a training tool that enables the monitoring of group dynamics, real-time leadership and naturalistic decision making in critical incidents. Hydra has assisted in the training and decision making of police officers, emergency personnel, health care professionals and the military and private sectors in the United Kingdom and internationally.
The team also provide advice and resources on developing simulation based learning outside the Hydra suites to enable this impactful methodology to be used regardless of learner location.
