Sharing Your Work
Sharing your practice, findings and reflections is an important part of pedagogic research and professional development. CELT offers a range of opportunities to share your work.
In the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) it is important to share your work with colleagues and peers. Sharing your work can demonstrate scholarly impact, and be useful evidence when applying for professional recognition from schemes such as CATE, NTFS and PSF.
Keep an eye out for opportunities to present your findings locally and nationally. Each academic field hosts conferences and meetings where you can connect with others in your subject area. Getting involved in learning and teaching events is a great way to learn more about teaching methods and scholarly practices.
There are plenty of ways to share your scholarly activities with colleagues, research communities, and the broader higher education community, including:
- Utilising social media channels, such as LinkedIn.
- Share your findings with USW’s Pedagogy Research and Innovation Group (RIG).
- Depositing your work in digital repositories and Pure.
- Publishing in online journals.
- Engaging with various other digital channels, such as podcasting.
- Contributing to forthcoming CELT-led events, seminars and conferences.
