We have three cutting-edge suites that include an embedded systems lab, a general electronics lab where you will undertake experimental setups and learn how to use the latest software, and the power and renewable energy lab, where you can design and simulate your very own renewable systems.

Electrical and Electronic Engineering Courses
As the electronics industry continues to grow worldwide, the demand for electrical and electronic engineering graduates is high. BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering offers a healthy balance between theory and practice, with the aim of producing graduates who can play leading roles in industry.
The MEng course in Electrical and Electronic Engineering merges BEng (Hons) material with Masters-level content, offering more advanced students enhanced professional and technical skills. This degree strikes a balance between theory and practice, preparing graduates for leadership roles in industry.
Topping up to a BSc (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering qualification is a great way to increase your specialist knowledge and skills. Taught full-time (direct entry) or part-time for those already in employment, the top-up allows you the option to specialise in either electrical power engineering or electronics engineering.
This HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering, two-year, part-time course allows HNC graduates in a related discipline to top-up to an HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Following successful completion of the HND, there is a further opportunity to progress onto our BSc (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering ‘top up’.
If you don’t have the right qualifications to start our Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree, opt to start your studies with this foundation course. You’ll study introductory modules whilst developing key skills for academic study. Successful completion will allow you to progress onto the degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
The MSc Electronics and Information Technology course sharpens your skills in designing advanced electronic systems and managing emerging technologies. Ideal for those aiming at careers in Electronics or Communication or for current engineers seeking specialization.
