Mental Wellbeing

As exciting as university can be, it can also come with challenges. Things can feel overwhelming, and you might need support with your wellbeing and mental health. We are here for you. Our advisers can talk to you to explore your needs, signpost you to help, and support you directly. We also offer a wide range of events to help improve your wellbeing.

Individual support - start here!

The first step to getting individual support from us is to book a Wellbeing Advice Appointment.

Wellbeing Advice Appointments are 45 minute sessions conducted in person, via telephone or online. They are a safe and confidential opportunity to discuss whatever issues you may have. You will receive appropriate assistance and support referrals if needed. Support could include referrals to workshops, short courses, activities, mental health advice, or counselling.

Book a Wellbeing Advice Appointment through Advice Zone Online.

Please Note: you cannot book an appointment directly with a Mental Health Adviser or a Counsellor before having a Wellbeing Advice Appointment.

Privacy Statement - USW uses Advice Zone Online for appointment bookings and some support interactions.  Please see Privacy Notices and Use of Personal Information.
