Student Engagement in QAE
Student Engagement in QAE
USW views students as key partners in quality assurance and enhancement.
Student Engagement Approaches
- Student Representation: Students serve on various university committees, including the Academic Board and QAC, contributing to decision-making and accountability. Student Voice Representatives are paid members of re/validation panels.
- Student/Staff Course Liaison Groups (SSCLG): Provide formal avenues for student feedback, feeding into course action plans.
- Student Evaluation and Feedback: Surveys and formal meetings inform course and module reports, with actions integrated into continuous monitoring.
- Student Involvement in Quality Enhancement: Students are actively involved in course review, monitoring, modification, and revalidation processes.
- Students Training and Development: Students are key partners in enhancement, supported by staff across the university.
