Joanne Beale

After graduating from the University of South Wales with a degree in Interior Design, Joanne Beale launched Joanne Beale Designs, offering residential interior design services across South Wales and the UK.

Introduced to the Newport Engagement Hub through USW staff, Joanne was looking for a professional place to work, connect with other entrepreneurs and access the support available from Start-up Stiwdio. What she found was much more than a workspace.

Being based in the Hub has given Joanne access to workshops, business support and networking opportunities that have helped her grow her business. From the New Business Bootcamp to sessions on social media, SEO, AI and pitching, she's developed new skills while making valuable connections with other business owners who have supported her branding, marketing and business development.

While the free coffee, meeting rooms and views over the River Usk are all welcome perks, it's the sense of community that keeps Joanne coming back.
