Hydra Experience: Health and Social Care

An immersive introduction to the communication, judgement and collaboration required in sensitive care settings.

Frontline Practices: In this interactive scenario, you will respond as a team to a call from a concerned neighbour. Inside the home, you'll be exposed to a sensitive situation where issues of coercive control, well-being, health, and family relationships come to the fore.

As a group, you will need to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and work together to make professional decisions about how best to support those involved. 

What is Hydra?

The Hydra environment enables participants to work collaboratively to experience simulated problems that they may experience in their work-lives.

Our Hydra Taster Days allow students to immerse themselves in a scenario preparing them for future study or careers.
