In-sessional English
In-sessional English classes are available to any student who wants to improve their academic writing skills.
The courses run in blocks of 6 - 8 weeks in the autumn and spring terms, and classes last for two hours.
There will be five classes at various times each week, which cover the same materials.
Topics covered in these classes typically include:
- Academic Writing Style and Structure
- Grammar for the Academic Writing Context
- Cohesion
- Language for Critical Thinking
- Vocabulary for the Academic Writing Context
