You're ready to start your studies and settle in to life at the University of South Wales. You're going to make new friends, experience new cultures and start your career. But just in case you do need help throughout your time here, we've got it covered.
Where you live is just as important as what you learn. Whether you want to live on campus at USW Pontypridd (Treforest) or in the city (Cardiff or Newport), we'll help you feel right at home. Living in student halls is a great way to step out of your comfort zone and make new friends, but we also offer private sector accommodation options.
Have you got a hobby? Or want to try something new? Clubs and societies are a great way to meet people who share the same interests as you. Our Students' Union holds over 50 societies from debating to photography. All are run by students, so if you can't find one to join, you can always start your own. We also have over 60 sports teams.
Each campus has their own Advice Zone. We know coming to live and study in a new country can be daunting, that is why our International Student Advice team are on-hand to help you at any time.. Whether you're unsure of what to expect during your arrival or if you need guidance about living in the UK.
Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd have a vibrant nightlife which is popular with our students. Most clubs hold weekly student events, or comedy and quiz nights for those who prefer a quieter evening. Don't forget to experience the Students' Union nightclub Eclipse, at our Treforest Campus, which holds the weekly student night - Score!
