Our Students' Union holds over 50 clubs and societies from debating and geological to history and photography, there's sure to be something for you. All are started and run by our students, so if you can't find one to join, that's fine, you can always start your own.

Eclipse nightclub at our Students' Union, Treforest

Nightlife

All of our campuses are close to town centres. Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd have a vibrant nightlife which is  popular amongst our students and the neighbouring universities.

With bars, clubs and pubs spotted throughout the towns, students regularly meet at their favourite hangout. Many clubs will hold weekly student nights with offers on entry and drinks, or for those who haven't got a pair of dancing feet, Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd all have pubs/bars which hold live music, comedy and quiz nights. Keep an eye out for posters around campus when local activities are taking place.

Every student has to experience the Students' Union nightclub. Eclipse, based at our Treforest Campus, is a major venue holding the weekly student night, Score! This year the venue will bring you more live music, alternative nights, international nights and plenty more!

Find out what our students got up to in a year, from field trips and events to placements and graduation, it has certainly been busy.
