Students appreciate the friendly, safe and welcoming environment of the university. Our three campuses are based in and around the city of Cardiff where students can enjoy the best of both worlds – city life and impressive countryside.

Wales offers a relatively low cost of living with good job opportunities. These are just some of the reasons why the city of Cardiff has been voted as one of the best cities in the UK for young people.

South Wales is home to a growing Czech community with many specialty shops selling Czech foodstuffs and a Czech consulate in Cardiff.

Our Undergraduate and Postgraduate EU Scholarship scheme offers a scholarship on the international tuition fees for EU students joining us in academic year 2024/2025. The scholarship awarded will ensure that the tuition fees paid do not exceed the fee currently paid by UK students.

You will be considered for a scholarship automatically when we receive your application to study. You do not need to make a separate scholarship application. You will receive confirmation of a scholarship with your offer letter and it applies to all years of study.

EU students who graduate from USW in 2023 with an undergraduate degree and are no longer eligible for home fees but could be eligible for a Master's Progression Fee Discount of £6,000.
