The University of South Wales is a popular choice amongst German students and we have been welcoming students from Germany for many years. Students have enjoyed the high standard of living but relatively low cost that South Wales offers. They also benefit hugely from the location – surrounded by breathtaking scenery and impressive historical landscapes, boasting excellent transport links and the buzz of two dynamic Welsh cities.

The University will be travelling to Germany during the year, join our USW International Office Facebook group to keep up to date with upcoming trips.

We hope you find the information for German students useful. Please contact us if you have any questions or queries!

Our Undergraduate and Postgraduate EU Scholarship scheme offers a scholarship on the international tuition fees for EU students joining us in academic year 2024/2025. The scholarship awarded will ensure that the tuition fees paid do not exceed the fee currently paid by UK students.

You will be considered for a scholarship automatically when we receive your application to study. You do not need to make a separate scholarship application. You will receive confirmation of a scholarship with your offer letter and it applies to all years of study.

EU students who graduate from USW in 2023 with an undergraduate degree and are no longer eligible for home fees but could be eligible for a Master's Progression Fee Discount of £6,000.
