Eligible students from Luxembourg still pay the same fees as UK students at USW.

We have three vibrant campuses around the capital city of Wales; Cardiff. Here, you can enjoy a high standard of living at a low cost. Our Undergraduate and Postgraduate EU Scholarship scheme offers a scholarship on the international tuition fees for EU students joining us in academic year 2026/2027. The scholarship awarded will ensure that the tuition fees paid do not exceed the fee currently paid by UK students.

You will be considered for a scholarship automatically when we receive your application to study. You do not need to make a separate scholarship application. You will receive confirmation of a scholarship with your offer letter and it applies to all years of study.

Foundation Years are available to students who don't meet the academic requirements for entry directly onto year 1 of a Bachelor degree.

English Qualifications

A score of 40/Bien in English in the Diplôme de Fin d’Etudes secondaires or Diplôme de Fin d’Etudes secondaires is considered an equivalent to IELTS 6.0
IELTS 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each band or equivalent

Please note that some courses may require a higher level of English language proficiency than the University’s standard requirements. Please see the course page for further information.
