More success for USW in Fintech Awards Wales

The University of South Wales (USW) has been successful again at the Fintech Awards Wales.

The MSc Data Science programme won the award for Best Academic Programme 
of the Year Supporting Fintech / FS Companies at the awards, which were recently held in Cardiff.

The programme also won the same honour in the 2023 Fintech Awards Wales.

The Awards are designed to recognise, attract, and invest in the talented Fintech Companies and professionals working in Wales. They highlight the achievements of the thriving Fintech sector across the country, bringing Wales’ leading innovators and digital experts together.

Course Leader Ieuan Griffiths said: “It’s been an honour and a privilege to win this award.

“We pride ourselves on delivering a current and challenged-based curriculum catered toward business needs, in what is a fast-paced industry.

“Winning this award gives us the confidence and validation that the MSc in Data Science is delivering on this mission, and I’m proud of the team and institution for enabling us to reach our goal.”
