Graduate Job

A position where having a degree is a key requirement, one which helps graduates transition from university to the workplace and one which usually offers a clear progression path. Applied to towards the end of your degree or once graduated.

Graduate Scheme

A graduate scheme is a paid structured training program. Often offered by large employers, they usually last 1–3 years providing on-the-job training, mentoring, and sometimes professional qualifications. They often rotate graduates through different departments or roles (called “rotations”) to broaden experience and typically lead to a permanent position upon successful completion.

Graduate schemes are open to final years and graduates and are typically advertised and applied to in the Autumn with the scheme commencing the following summer.
