During term time our Digital Mentors can provide help with basic IT skills that are vital for your course.

Digital Mentors/ Academic Integrity Champions

Support with basic IT skills include:

- Navigating BlackBoard
- Support with Printing/ Scanning
- Basic Microsoft 365 skills
- Help with Turnitin

Doubling up as Academic Integrity Champions, our DMs can help navigate students to the essential academic integrity course on BlackBoard as well as signpost towards the right support for academic misconduct.

This support is available on campus and via email.

We can offer you a student mentor to share their understanding of how university life and study works at USW, they will remain your mentor until you feel confident and independent. Peer Assisted Study Support (PASS)

PASS Leaders support first or foundation-year students with academic expectations through weekly, hour-long sessions. They share course knowledge and help develop key skills via peer-support activities. Speak to your lecturer about PASS on your course to find out more.
