Newport’s Children and Young People Counselling Service

TalkingZone provides free counselling to children and young people from 3 years of age up to their 19th birthday who live in the Newport area.

Due to high demand and our current waiting list, the TalkingZone School-Based Counselling Service referral portal is now closed.

We are unable to accept any further referrals for the remainder of this academic year.

If you require support, you can access helpful self-help resources on our website.

TalkingZone is based in every secondary school in Newport, and provides a peripatetic service to all primary schools within the city. TalkingZone also provides a limited community service to those young people who are not in mainstream education, employment or training.
