USW helped to spark a new passion

Hassan, an international student, chose USW after carefully considering numerous options. "USW stood out with its fantastic facilities, like the library, study resources, and course teaching methods.” Originally studying engineering, Hassan's interests shifted to HR. He credits USW for sparking this newfound passion. 

As part of the HRM course, Hassan was introduced to crucial industry interactions via guest lectures and live seminars. These experiences offered practical insights, thereby complementing his theoretical knowledge, and making him an all-rounded candidate for future employment. 

He acknowledges the importance of mastering certain software like Canva, Microsoft Word, and Excel in this digital age, which he learned through his course. His goal is to become an HR manager, and he believes this course has prepared him by enhancing his people management and problem-solving skills, but also these key software skills.
