Five-Star Placements

Throughout the course, you will have practical work experience at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort, where you will gain a wide variety of skills that are required at operational, supervisory and management levels in the hospitality industry - ranging from rooms division, food and beverage and conference and banqueting.  

As well as time at Celtic Manor Resort during term time, you will also be encouraged to seek summer work either at smaller boutique establishments or with other hotel and hospitality providers in the UK and internationally. 

By working and learning in a five-star environment you will gain invaluable knowledge from industry experts who will train you in customer service excellence and teach you industry best practices.

BA (Hons) Hotel and Hospitality Management

Built on the principles of ‘real world learning’, this is the only hotel and hospitality management degree in the UK that is run in conjunction with a five-star hotel. 

Through a combination of classroom-based learning and practical experience, you’ll gain a detailed understanding of every aspect of the hotel business, as well as exposure to the workings of a five-star venue. 

You will have the opportunity to develop practical and professional skills from the ground up, and be given exposure to industry experts from all areas of the hotel and hospitality industry, on-the-job training, interactive workshops and individual coaching sessions.
