Schools and colleges transport cost support

We're aware that transport costs can often be prohibitive, and we really want to support you where possible to ensure your students have every opportunity to experience our on-campus events for schools and colleges.

We may be able to reimburse your travel costs up to 50% (terms and conditions apply).

Terms and conditions

Reimbursing travel costs for school and college visits to campus is at the discretion of USW.

Travel costs for school and college visits can be reimbursed up to a maximum of 50%.

There is no appeals process and USW's decision is final.

The school/ college/ organisation is responsible for sourcing a quote for transport in a suitable vehicle with a reputable company and invoice USW for the agreed amount.

To enable us to reimburse costs (such as coach or bus hire), your school or college may need to be set up as a supplier on the University of South Wales finance system.

Before sending any documentation, please contact us to check whether your school or college is already set up as a supplier.

If a new supplier setup is required, we will ask for:

• A copy of your current Professional Indemnity Insurance certificate
• A copy of your current Public / Product Liability Insurance certificate
• A copy of your current Employer’s Liability Insurance certificate
• The name of the main contact at your school or college
