This is an innovative accelerated programme in latest data science and AI skills and knowledge, to handpicked STEM graduates as part of a new partnership.

The Data-AI Fast Track Programme, led by the WCCF and a consortium of leading financial services and technology businesses, is a 10-month intensive fast-track programme, providing accelerated work-based learning and development, combining industry placements and academia. As the pandemic struck, this project needed to run assessments to choose the best graduates for this fast-track programme. This had all been carried out face-to-face in the past.

With 25 graduates each week and industry-leading organisations as the assessors, there needed to be an online solution to carry out group presentations, individual interviews and briefing sessions.

The USW Conference & Events Team devised an online solution using our in-house software, which involved taking candidates into online breakout groups, timing presentations to ensure the day runs to schedule, managing the various online room set ups, recording individual interviews and setting up links for the various sessions.

We also supported the graduates and industry assessors with any technical difficulties and worked alongside the WCCF team to plan the assessment day detail.

KATRINA AND HER TEAM AT USW PROVIDED HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL AND HIGHLY ORGANISED EXPERIENCE FOR ASSESSORS AND CANDIDATES ALIKE.
