Research, Learning, Teaching and Innovation Conference 2026
This year’s Research, Learning, Teaching and Innovation Conference takes place from Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July.
The conference theme is Innovation and impact: How the University impacts our communities.
Throughout the week, we will showcase how research, industry collaboration, and innovative pedagogy intersect through Challenge-Based Curriculum (CBC). We’ll explore how this approach will enrich the student experience and address real-world challenges.
Posters from all fourteen Research and Innovation Groups (RIGs) will be on display, and RIG leads and colleagues from the Engagement, Research, and Commercialisation (ERC) department will be on hand to answer questions and support new connections.
Alongside Research and Innovation Groups (RIGs) presentations, the week will feature workshops, CPD sessions, poster displays, networking opportunities, and more.
Draft Education and Student Experience Strategy
The Strategy is intended to guide our approach to learning, teaching, and student experience over the next four years. A working draft, which has been shaped through colleague engagement and feedback, can be found here. Please note that this link is only accessible to USW colleagues. This is a working document and as such is only currently available in English.
