Got an offer through Clearing?
Have you received an offer through Clearing? Here’s everything you need to do next.
Got an offer from us? Here's what to do next
Log into your UCAS Hub account.
If we’re able to make you an offer, we will confirm it via email. If you are already in the UCAS system, then you will need to log into UCAS Hub and add USW as a Clearing choice using the University Institution Code (W01) and the Course Code as shown in your offer email.
Holding an offer elsewhere?
Do you still hold an Unconditional Firm offer from another university? Not to worry. All you need to do is self-release by using the ‘decline your place’ button on your application.
Processing your application
Once you’re referred to University of South Wales on your UCAS Hub, we will process your application as quickly as possible. UCAS will then send you an email alerting you to this change on your Hub.
After accepting your place
If you have firmly accepted a place on a full-time course at USW, keep an eye out for an email to apply for accommodation. The email will contain a username and password and a link to our Accommodation portal. If you have not received this or would like to speak to one of our Accommodation Services Team, contact us as soon as possible. After you submit your application, we will be in touch to provide you with a room assignment date, which is when you will be able to log in and complete your room selection for September.
After accepting your place to study at USW, you might want to apply for student finance. It takes at least six weeks to process your application, but the initial assessment allows you to have some money as close to the start of your course as possible. If there are any changes to your application due to the Clearing process, you'll need to tell your student funding provider to limit any delays in receiving your money. Contact your student funding provider for more information.
