Children on Campus

Are children allowed on campus?

Generally, children are permitted on the University’s campuses, provided they are under the supervision and control of an accompanying parent/guardian/adult. There are however some places and some situations where children are not allowed.

Children are not permitted in teaching spaces and sessions. The exception is where it is deemed necessary due to a student or colleague breastfeeding (in compliance with the Equality Act 2010). Further information can be found on the Pregnancy, Maternity, Paternity/Partners and Adoption page.
