All USW campuses are within walking distance of a train station.

Newport Bus offers a series of travel smartcards to allow you to benefit from a discounted rate with weekly or monthly passport passes.
Students can receive discounts on UK-wide travel with Megabus and National Express via UNiDAYS. Travel discounts are also available from the NUS (TOTUM).
A free shuttle bus service is provided between the Treforest and Glyntaff campuses and the Treforest and Sport Park campuses.
Cycling
You can cycle to all USW campuses on the Sustrans National Cycle Network and each campus provides secure bike storage, lockers and showers.
Despite the weather, South Wales is a great place for cycling, both on and off-road.
