Immersed is a multi-media Festival curated by Creative Industries students at USW, working in partnership with the local community in aid of climate change charity, Music Declares Emergency.
BA (Hons) Popular and Commercial Music
Bob (James) Sharp wanted to create a fanzine to celebrate and share his love of soundtracks to computer games. He investigated the history of niche interest and fan created small-scale magazines, independently produced and distributed, and came up with this first sedition of his own fanzine supported by links to the music discussed.

EP written, performed and produced by solo artist, Elodie Duplan. Elodie was investigating the role of the bedroom composer and producer.
BA (Hons) Music Producing
Third year BA (Hons) Music Producing students Osian Land and Julian Rees have created websites promoting 'sample packs' - unique sounds that they generated themselves - with a view to developing online communities for fellow music producers and musicians.
Hard Hittas
Katalyst AudioRyan Thomas, a third year BA (Hons) Music Producing student created an hour long music performance based on binaural beats - frequencies that have reputed healing and wellbeing properties. Ryan performed the music at the Immersed Festival in March 2025 along with other musicians, creating a calm and safe environment for festival goers.
