Leading weekly DanceFit classes as part of the staff fitness initiative has been my way of living out “Give to Gain.”

As the instructor of a follow-the-leader style class, I create fun, high-energy dance routines that participants can simply jump into and enjoy with no previous dance experience needed.  My DanceFit classes are open to everyone.

When I started my fitness journey it began with weekly dance classes led by an incredible instructor which empowered myself and others to dance like nobody was watching. My confidence sky rocketed and as time passed I knew I wanted to uplift others and provide a fun, fitness experience which involved moving in a way that was not your traditional gym environment.

What began as a love for movement became a space where others could take time out of their busy day to show up for themselves, boost confidence, build connections, have fun.

In giving my time, encouragement, and positive energy, I’ve met some fantastic woman here at USW, developed my leadership skills, created many of my own dance routines, and seen a massive improvement in my confidence and interpersonal skills.
My personal fitness journey started with what I now provide to the USW community. A full circle moment.
