Psychology Travel Bursary
This travel bursary is for any University of South Wales student studying undergraduate psychology-related degree courses and undertaking their sandwich year in the 2027/28 academic year.

Worth £500, this one-off, non-means tested bursary is given to all students starting their sandwich year as part of their degree course. The bursary is intended to provide financial support towards your travel costs to and from your sandwich placement.
How does it work?
To be eligible, you need to meet the following criteria:

Currently studying on an eligible full-time, undergraduate sandwich degree on one of the following courses:

Will be undertaking your sandwich year during the academic year 2027/28.
Following enrolment for your sandwich year, you will receive £500 paid directly into your bank account by BACS, during your first term (by the end of October 2027).
Provided you meet the eligibility criteria, no further action is required.
Following enrolment onto your sandwich year, you will receive an email from the University during September 2027 confirming that the travel bursary will be paid and additional details.
