Students undertaking an Initial Teacher Training course are normally eligible for statutory undergraduate funding support.

Even if you’ve studied before at undergraduate level, some teaching courses come with further funding, and some students may be eligible for teaching bursaries, state benefits or tax credits.

The funding you’re eligible for depends on the type of Initial Teacher Training course you’re on, where you normally live, the subject you’re teaching, where you’re training and your personal circumstances.
