The Learner Development Service (formerly known as Study Skills) can support your academic studies by helping you to develop the necessary skills to succeed in higher education. These include academic writing, referencing, and critical thinking skills, as well as Maths and Statistics support.
Support available includes 1-1 appointments (online or on campus), regular online skills sessions (via Teams), online guides, and video guides. All information regarding the support on offer can be accessed on our website.
We run free public appointments where students (with qualified legal supervision) interview and assess clients and draw up legal advice in several legal areas such as employment, housing, debt, family and contract matters.
We may also be able to assist in other areas of law, using our links with local firms such as Capital Law, Harding Evans and Howells who also provide free legal advice and support to the clinic.
