Access your apps on campus

The UniApps portal is available to students and staff on Windows PC's and laptops across all campuses.

For students the UniApps portal will open automatically, and via the 'UniApps’ desktop shortcut.

For staff the UniApps portal is available via the url and the 'UniApps' desktop shortcut.

The portal displays applications in 4 main lists:

  • All available - you can launch all applications displayed here.
  • Favourites - you can add the applications you regularly use to your favourites list by clicking the 'Add to Favourites' star above the application.
  • Unavailable - these applications cannot be launched on your current machine either due to licensing or geographical restrictions. Please click the information button on the app to see how to run it.
  • Categories list - this is a grouping of applications based on school/subject disciplines.

Alongside these lists, you can also search using the 'Search Apps' facility.

To launch a software application, hover over the application and then click the 'Launch' button. The application will automatically launch for locally installed applications, and for cloudpaging applications they will stream down to the PC and then launch.

Approved software is available via UniApps.

To request software not yet available please ask your faculty IT co-ordinator to raise a PoB case. They need to do so via the Software Request Form. (This will require further information regarding your requirements, vendor & software details and a justification).

This service will be accessible on all AV teaching PC's via a shortcut on the desktop.
