Our team of three experienced designers are highly motivated, creative and passionate about what they do. 

All working together to ensure they are in tune with our clients needs, delivering eye-catching standout designs to deadline.

As well as our internal USW clients, we also have a growing number of external clients and have built an excellent working relationship with a number of these, ensuring they return time after time. Although we are a small studio we have big ideas, and design meaningful, memorable brands ensuring a positive response from consumers both internal and external.

Demand for display graphics is exploding. 
As a result, USW Print and Design have invested massively in this growth area and are now able to offer a wide range of large format materials. Such as pull-up banner stands, vinyl outdoor banners, vinyl window and wall graphics, stickers and wallpaper. Our experienced staff can help and advise you on the best solution to help you drive your business forward.

Pull-up banner stands 
Pull-up banner stands for use in advertising or exhibitions, available in various sizes and quality. Our High quality banner stand is 2220x800mm, Standard banner stand is: 2050x800mm. 

Both types are easy to assemble and come complete with carry case. We also offer an A3 table top banner stand.

Vinyl banners
Vinyl banners for outdoor or indoor use, can be printed to various lengths and to one metre high. All come complete with eyelets for ease of hanging. 

Vinyl window/wall graphics and wallpaper 
Vinyl window/wall graphics and wallpaper we offer design and installation of cut vinyl and digitally printed window graphics, and wallpaper.

Our print team is made up of four experienced, customer focused members. 
There to help and advise you on the best solution for all your print needs. Our aim is to ensure consistency of quality across all our print work – this is at the heart of what we do.

We offer colour and mono digital copying, at A4 and A3 sizes, both standard and high-quality prints are available on a variety of stocks and weights of paper/card. 

Booklet printing is also available sizes from A3 folded to A4 right down to A6 folded to A7 and any size in between, we can also produce custom size booklets to your requirements. Don’t hesitate to ask a member of our team for help.

All items are competitively priced, bespoke and can be turned around within 2-3 working days. We have a wide range of products including; Mugs, Coasters, T-Shirts, Tote Bags, Mouse Mats and Canvas Art. 

You can supply the design to us in pdf, jpeg or eps format or you have the option to let us design it for you, just ask.

Canvas Art is available in various sizes; 20”x20”, 20”x15”, 20”x12”, 15”x15”, 15”x12” and 12”x12”.

We are able to print posters from A2 up to A0 and can also print specific customised sizes to your individual requirements. Both matt and gloss stock is available. If you have never put a poster for presentation together before, below are some helpful hints and tips to guide you through.

Diagrams and pictures
If you are using a photograph or diagram in your poster you should ensure they are good quality and saved in the correct format. They should be 300dpi jpgs or tiff with the file colour settings saved to CMYK and not RGB. 

Layout
For portrait posters text should be laid out in a minimum of two columns, for posters larger than A2 (A1 or A0), and three columns may be more suitable. When creating an A2 landscape poster you should use a minimum of three columns and four if using A1 or A0. If using a coloured or patterned background, you should consider a pale colour.

Fonts
Always pick a font that is simple and easy to read, Arial, Helvetica and Times are some suitable examples. Font size is important when creating large format posters, the minimum point size you should use depends on the size of your poster. Please use guide below, posters should always have a large main heading and each section should have a sub heading:
A2: Title 35pt | sub-heading 20pt | body text 16pt
A1: Title 50pt | sub-heading 26pt | body text 20pt
A0: Title 60pt | sub-heading 35pt | body text 25pt

Complementing our print services is our range of binding and finishing options.
Whatever your finishing or binding requirements are we can help. From two and four hole punching, binding, saddle-stitching and stapling. 

If you are unsure of the best option to suit your needs just ask a member of our print team, who are there to help you. We have five binding options for dissertation/thesis and project work. Premium binding options are a 24 or 48 hour service.

We have a wide selection of clothing items available in a large selection of colours, tailored to meet your needs. We also provide a custom embroidery service allowing our clients to supply their own garments.

With no minimum order, we provide a bespoke service, allowing that personal touch.
