Everyone is welcome at USW. Our Accommodation Guarantee will give you peace of mind, knowing that your student room is guaranteed before you join us in September.

The university offers a guarantee of accommodation in the halls of residence for all full-time undergraduate applicants applying from within the UK who meet our eligibility criteria.

ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
The University of South Wales guarantees accommodation for all first year (full time) undergraduate and postgraduate students who meet the following criteria:
• Accept USW as their firm choice by 4 June 2025.
• Submit their accommodation application by 16 June 2025 and make the relevant payment by the deadline specified if your accommodation offer email.
• Meet the terms and conditions of their academic offer.
Accommodation will either be in the USW Halls of Residence at our Treforest campus or with one of our private accommodation providers in Cardiff or Newport* and will be allocated in line with the terms of our allocation policy.**
*The Accommodation Guarantee is not location specific but, where possible, rooms will be allocated nearest to the campus of study (unless otherwise requested).
**We reserve the right to house students at an alternative location where the first-choice accommodation is full. The term ‘accommodation’ refers to a single student bedroom (i.e., not applicable to those seeking couples or family accommodation).
