PRINCE2® (Projects IN Controlled Environments) is a structured project management method based on experience drawn from thousands of projects – and from the contributions of countless project sponsors, project managers, project teams, academics, trainers and consultants. It has been designed to be scalable and easily adapted to the needs of different kinds of projects and organisations. The method is very well established as a standard in the UK and is also practised worldwide.

Who is it for?

This programme is for anyone in a project environment or in a project supporting role who needs to learn about the PRINCE2® approach. The programme is beneficial for any new or experienced project managers who want to learn how to run successful, effective projects.

What will you learn?

During the programme we will introduce you to the roles, principles, themes and processes that form the structure of PRINCE2®. The programme will teach you how to apply elements of PRINCE2® methodology to optimise chances of success regardless of project type or scale. MSP® (Managing Successful Programmes) is a flexible and adaptable approach to project management where a business “vision” is the required outcome. Suitable for any type and size of programme, MSP® helps coordinate the management of a set of projects to deliver strategic objectives that require change management, strategic objectives and business benefits delivery. MSP® deals with the management of the interdependencies and potential conflicts within various projects providing a framework for implementing business strategies or organisational change.

Who is it for?

This qualification is relevant for those looking to manage multiple change events within their organisation. It is therefore suitable for programme managers, experienced project managers and senior managers within organisations who are involved with implementing change, whether directly or in a support role.

AgilePM® is a radically different approach to project management that doesn’t demand that everything is written in stone at the beginning of a project. It focuses on developing solution incrementally to enable project teams to react effectively to changing requirements whilst empowering project personnel and encouraging increased collaboration and ownership. AgilePM® provides a holistic approach; embracing change and offering flexibility and can be used in conjunction with methods such as PRINCE2®.

AgilePM is aimed at aspiring and practising managers, and at team members wishing to adopt a fast-paced, flexible and collaborative approach to project management whilst maintaining standards and rigour. The programme is also ideal for those wishing to add to their knowledge of traditional approaches such as PRINCE2®.

What will you learn?

This programme will give delegates a practical understanding of Agile PM, which is based on the internationally recognised framework of DSDM Atern. This will enable delegates to become immediately productive as a project manager in an agile project environment. Course topics include: the fundamentals and the philosophy, the principles, preparation, the lifecycle and products, team structures, roles and responsibilities, communication, planning control and risk and implementing Agile Project Management.

Managing change and the impact of change is a high priority and can be difficult to get right. The APMG International Change Management Practitioner™ has been developed to enhance your ability to embrace and successfully manage the impact of change. It focuses on the practical aspects of effective change management by giving you the opportunity to develop your capabilities to deal with change before, during and after it occurs.

Who is it for?

Ideal for project, programme or change managers; either responsible for or involved in implementing change. Also ideal for change team members affected by or affecting change and for those supporting colleagues, teams and their organisation through change.

The two-day Better Business Cases Foundation Course will enable individuals to plan and contribute to the development of a business case that follows the Five Case Model; the UK government’s best practice approach to planning spending proposals and enabling effective business decisions.
