The University offers the following scholarships for self-funding international students. You will be automatically considered for one of these awards when we receive your application. For more information visit the international scholarships page.

Courses Starting in September 2023 and February 2024

  • International Academic Scholarship of £1,500 per year for undergraduate students
  • International Academic Scholarships of £2,000 for postgraduate students

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

  • Students who have passed their year 12 Senior School Leaving Certificate will be considered for direct entry onto a Bachelor degree.
  • Students who have completed 1-2 years of university education in Australia will be considered for advanced entry on to a Bachelor degree.

Foundation Years are available for those students who do not meet the entry requirements for year 1 of a Bachelor degree.

English Qualifications

Proficiency in English is essential for Undergraduate study. The University of South Wales recognises accepts a variety of language qualifications for entry.

If you have successfully completed year 12 secondary school education with a good Senior School Leaving Certificate, you will be considered for English language requirement exemption.

Postgraduate Entry Requirements

Students who have a Bachelor degree with Honours with a ''satisfactory/good’’ result from a recognised institution or a high pass from a three-year Ordinary degree will be considered for entry onto a Masters course.
