‘’The UK has one of the best educational standards with their certificates respected across the world.’’

Hi! I am Nii Kwartei Kojo Owoo, from Accra, Ghana. I studied B.A (Hons) Economics from the University of Ghana, and LLB (Hons) from the University of London. I now study LLM Legal Practice at USW.

One of my favourite things about living in Treforest, is the landscape. South Wales possibly has one of the most beautiful and picturesque landscapes in the world. I will often walk up the hills with my friends to engage with nature.

Why I chose USW

The royal coat of arms featured in the moot courtroom that depicts a crown, a lion and a unicorn with the words 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' and 'Dieu et mon droit'

USW has an esteemed legal clinic and law faculty

three students have taken seats in the moot court stand, they are listening to a statement being presented.

The facilities are fantastic – they even have their own mock courtroom

A large lecture theatre in the Brecon Building on the Treforest campus

I looked forward to being taught by national award-winning lecturer, Benjamin Jones

The UK’s two-year post study work visa will allow me to gain useful work experience

A UK CERTIFICATE INCREASES ONE'S EMPLOYABILITY AND GIVES AN INDIVIDUAL A GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE TO TACKLING ISSUES.
