Our Sport Park is modern, professional and has some of the best university training equipment in south Wales. Our facilities are regularly used by international professional teams, such as the Wales women's national football team, Cardiff City Football Club, and the touring New Zealand, South Africa and Australia rugby squads.

Essential Sport Park Information
All Sport Park facilities across our impressive 38-acre site are available to hire for students, staff and externals. If you are interested in using our indoor and outdoor facilities as a training venue then you can contact us directly. Pricing will vary depending on the nature of your booking, we also offer bespoke commercial arrangements with external organisations and associations. Contact us for further details, we aim to respond to all booking enquiries within 48-hours.

The USW Sport Park is a fantastic 30 acre site located in Treforest on the Treforest Industrial Estate and is home to a wide range of sporting facilities including an indoor FIFA standard 3G football pitch which houses Catapult ClearSky Indoor GPS System, a notational analysis suite, a strength and conditioning room, an all weather pitch an outdoor 3G pitch and numerous multi use grass pitches amongst other things.

The nearest train station is Treforest Estate, with regular trains departing Cardiff Central throughout the day on the South Wales Valleys Lines.

By Car, from M4
Exit at J32 and travel north on the A470 for about 4 miles. Exit the A470 at the junction marked A4054 and take the first exit into the Treforest Industrial Estate. You will see signs for USW Sport Park on your left, just before the ATS building.

Travel south on the A470 until you reach the junction marked A4054. Take the fourth exit off the roundabout into Treforest Industrial Estate. You will see signs for USW Sport Park on your left, just before the ATS building.
