The taster courses are a fantastic way to experience what USW has to offer while getting an idea of whether it's the right place for you. Lecturers use a mixture of video tutorials and interactive tasks as they deliver an insight into what you could be studying on one of our Youth and Community Work degrees.

Introduction to Youth Work
Our Introduction to Youth Work taster course contains a comprehensive mix of interactive tasks and video tutorials covering various topics in Youth Work, including The Five Pillars of Youth Work and The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC).
As part of the course, we’ll guide you through the journey of a youth worker, 'where youth work can take you' and history and policy within youth work.
