Professional Development in Learning and Teaching

The Academic Professional Practice Team are focused on supporting the development of learning and teaching practice at the University of South Wales (USW).

We provide a range of Advance HE accredited and non-accredited programmes; conferences; support networks; and continuing professional development opportunities focused on enhancing teaching and learning. The pathways provide development opportunities that are aligned an individual’s role, responsibilities, and institutional expectations and priorities. The development framework responds to the needs of academic staff at each career stage. We also provide training and support in gaining reward and recognition for your teaching.
