The University is based in South Wales, UK with campuses in Cardiff, Newport and Pontypridd.
International and EU students from more than 120 countries study at the University of South Wales each year and we have a vibrant Indian community on campus.
At USW students from India can expect:

Undergraduate
- BA (Hons) Business and Management – accredited by the Chartered Management Institute and includes a guaranteed 10 week work placement
- BA (Hons) Hotel and Hospitality Management – 50% of the course involves a guaranteed work placement; we are the only UK university to work in partnership with a 5* hotel, the Celtic Manor Resort, plus, there’s also an opportunity for placement at the Celtic Manor’s sister hotel in Canada in the second year
- BSc (Hons) Computer Science – accredited by the British Computing Association and 100% of our graduates are in employment or further study six months after graduating (Graduate destination survey 2016)
- BSc Football Coaching and Performance – the course has been designed in partnership with professional clubs, including Swansea City AFC, Cardiff City FC, and the Football Association of Wales (FAW) Trust, and includes guaranteed work placement opportunities
- BSc Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance systems – accredited by the Civil Aviation Authority, EASA and the General Civil Aviation Authority
Postgraduate
- MBA Global (including work placement) – freshers as well as students with work experience are welcome to apply for this program where you can gain up to 10 months of work experience in the UK, either through an external work placement or an internal consultancy-based internship at the USW Business Clinic. The course offers specialist pathways in Finance, HRM, Supply Chain Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship and is a CMI accredited program
- MSc Cyber Security – USW has been recognised as Cyber University of the year from last 3 years running and this course is accredited by CISCO
- MSc Forensic Audit and Accounting – the only course of its kind in the UK and has been running for the past 10 years
- MA Design Innovation – based at our purpose-built campus in the creative centre of Cardiff
- MA SEN/ALN autism – the course will appeal if you are working in the fields of SEN/ALN and learning diabilities, health, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists
- MSc Public Health – designed in consultation with Public Health Wales, you will need a minimum of one year's relevant work experience
- MSc Clinical Psychology – you will benefit from our Behaviour Analysis Clinic where you can participate in in-house supervised voluntary experience
- MSc Aeronautical Engineering – accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Royal Aeronautical Society
- MSc Renewable energy and sustainable Technology – accredited by the Energy Institute, this course is based in our Sustainable Environment Research Centre (SERC)
- MSc Music Engineering and Production – accredited by Joint Audio Media Education Support (JAMES) and taught at our Cardiff Campus
- MSc International Logistic and Supply chain Management – accredited by CIPS, the course is offered in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport
- MA Film – as well as the standard MA Film pathway, you will be able to choose one of the following six specialist paths should you wish – Directing, Documentary, Screenwriting, Editing, Production Management or Visual Effects
