You have been discontinued from your course and an Intermediate Award has been achieved.

The Assessment Board has agreed that you have failed in such a way as to suggest there is no possibility of successful completion of the course. As such you have been discontinued and can no longer continue to study on your course. However, whilst you have not been able to complete the full award you are registered on, you have gained sufficient credit to be awarded an Intermediate Award.

Please be advised that where a course has a protected course title due to Professional, Statutory or Regulatory body (PSRB) requirements, intermediate awards may have a different course title.

Please contact the Progression Advice Team to discuss options that are now available for you. Please be advised that the USW Admissions Policy states that discontinued students are not normally able to reapply to study for a period of 12 months, for more information please read Admissions Policy.

If you are an International Student, you may wish to read the Information for International Students – Exiting page. Should you wish to seek further advice, please contact the Immigration and International Student Advice Team.
